hello I fitted a longer higer capacity NAPA GOLD 1794 , 2 qt. filter on my 2000 6.5 then I filled with 8 quarts Rotella T6.
I crancked it an let it run then checked the dipstick and it came to the full line, like before the 2 quart filter .
I expected it to be 1 quart short and that I would need to add another quart but it measured right to full line with just 8 quarts . whats happening here?
