View Full Version : LLY Fuel system
Running a lly with 135000 miles on the motor. Truck has a banks after cooler with the bigger tubes. Also a banks cool air intake with an AFE intake elbow, plus a 4in exhaust system. The truck was losing power and now does not start. When was losing power the rail pressure could not get over 9000psi. So put a ppe shim kit in and a fass 150 on to try to help. I guess the question is what or who has the best pump and injectors for a good price? Would like to stay stock or a little over on injectors because the fear of losing the head gaskets over the more power.

Safest to stay with an authorized Bosch reman center for pumps and injectors or go with a vendor that has a proven track record.
Here's a list I recommend:
www.bd-power.com (http://www.bd-power.com)
www.ppediesel.com (http://www.ppediesel.com)
www.usdieselparts.com (http://www.usdieselparts.com)
www.kennedydiesel.com (http://www.kennedydiesel.com)
www.thoroughbreddiesel.com (http://www.thoroughbreddiesel.com)
They all have a vested interest in your success.
What model year is this truck?
The CP3's have been very solid. I would do a bottle test first.

This kind of follows the LBZ/LMM P0087 issue:

MP also just posted a document on the Feature Articles page in the Member's section.
P.S. Leave the injectors stock unless you are going racing.
