I think a lot about putting diesel engines into various chevy vehicles - a Mercedes OM617 into an s-10 pickup, a 6.5 into a 2000's Tahoe, etc. Making the engine run would be easy, but how do you deal with all the other computer related problems with the speedo, gauges, etc? Are there aftermarket solutions, or do you just have to tear out the instrument cluster and put in separate gauges? I guess this question applies to pretty much any engine swap with newer vehicles..
