I put rear differential bearings a a friend's 1998 Dodge/Cummins, and have been putting some miles on it prior to inspecting the gears and changing gear oil again before sending it home.

Although I won't be jumping ship, and buying one, I'm more impressed than I thought I'd be with the Cummins!

I have to agree, although the Dodge I drove had 15k miles. The Cummins engine has never been a weak area for Dodge, just everything they build and design "in house".

The only other diesel truck that I would own other than another 6.5l is the F550, 7.3l PSD, 6 spd man. I'm not picky whatsoever as to what I'll drive.
That don't mean that i'm going to ever own one.
