6.5 NA in an S-10 pickup?

Has anyone tried this? I measured 30 inches from the back of the block to the tip of the water pump snout on a 6.5 na engine. It will probably require some major surgery to the firewall.

There are many S10 pickups with small and big block conversion so I would assume that there is a proven way of doing it. I have worked on a S10 blazer with a small block in it that looked ALMOST factory...:rolleyes:
A diesel of coarse would be simpler as you have no electronics to worry about.
