Can I use a flywheel off a 350 gas on a 6.5? It fits and bolt pattern is the same.If not why? Thanks

No, you can't use the flywheel/flexplate. The engines are externally balanced, and different.

Thanks for the reply. I will try to hunt one down. 6.2 and 6.5 all the same I assume. Dual mass or single?

When I replaced the clutch and flywheel on my 6.5, I went from dual-mass to single-mass. There is a balancer in the transmission (manual) that supposedly is needed for the single-mass flywheel, but I haven't noticed a difference.

You'll find people on both sides arguing the merits and demerits of each setup.

Correct, the 6.2 and 6.5 are the same.

As said, if switching from a dual mass flywheel to single, the torsional damper is required ("balancer" is a misnomer). Also, if using a gasser tranny with a single.
