Going to make up new oil line set from engine to cooler. Need to know the type (NPT, etc) and size (1/4, 3/8, etc) for the quick connector adapter fitting on the engine block, I am assuming both (supply/return) are the same size? From what I can see and have read on Forum will need to have a 90-degree out of the block, but I don’t know what the thread size is for the adapter fitting into the engine block? I would like to assemble all the fittings before taking lines and quick connectors off.

Thanks for your Help. Brent

Thanks for your Help. Brent Brent,

There are two different sizes:
3/8" NPT which is uses 1/2" lines which your 94 should be

1/2" NPT which is uses 5/8" lines97's and up (some 96's might have this size too)

Most 96 and all 95 and older are 3/8 npt. Some 96 and all 97 and newer are 1/2" npt
