Is my vehicle Title Right?

I have a '97 K2500 pickup. I orginally bought it used in Iowa in 2000. I then re-titled it in Illinois in 2001 and now I am again re-titling it in Iowa. One question I have is through all of these titles, my titles have always said the model is a "GMT-400". Is this right? Shouldn't it say K2500 or something like that? Isn't the GMT-400 a 2 ton truck?

Sounds right, just interesting that they would use that factory nomenclature to describe your truck.
