Vin check please

I'm in the process of buying a 2006 Lbz 2500 hd. Would like to know how I can go about doing a vin check on it. Truck only had 75000 miles on it and looks really clean. 1GCHK23D86F258778 this is the vin if any of you guys could help me It would be greatly appreciated

If you're buying this from a GM dealership, you should request that they provide a printed service history for this vehicle. All GM warranty and owner paid service will be listed. In fact, if they balk at providing the info, I'd make it a condition of sale - providing you like what you see.

The LBZ has been a good engine. Unless it's been abused, I'd not be too worried.

In addition, I'd spend some time here reading about the trouble code P0087. High mile LBZ trucks have experienced this code.... Jim
