Exhaust Residue, LML

2012 3500 HD Duramax. Noticed slight exhaust residue/film on front of my 5th wheel behind exhaust pipe. Not much at all when compared to my previous LLY Duramax. I didn't think there would be any with the exhaust regeneration unit on the LMN. Is that normal?

It's likely residue from exhaust vapor, which is comprised of particles and molecules smaller than the pores in the exhaust filter. I'd not worry about it... Jim

FYI the correct series for your engine is LML. Using this will help when searching for your posts or related posts.
