My new 2013 Chevy 2500hd Duramax is coming the end of the month, Anything I should do or know about the break in of this truck?

Congrats!
The first thing I would do with a brand new truck would be to READ the owners manual cover to cover for this information.
My thought would be no excessive idle time - but that's good advice, regardless of the age of the engine.
Mixed duty of loaded and unloaded, if its <10f I'd put it on the block heater for at least 3hrs before lighting off a new, tight engine.
I'd change factory oil to Mobil Delvac at 5K and never use anything else...but that's just my personal choice as there are lots of good oils out there. Your truck will probably tell you when it wants the oil changed, and mine is usually close to 10K intervals with the long highway miles.
Probably more important is to get the rear diff serviced promptly at 50K, if not sooner, and especially if you tow heavy in that first 50K.
