What is the optimum timing setting using a snap on MT1480 with the probe in the glow hole way of timing..... Manual pump motor.....used for towing heavy only, 2500rpm's and under...

Power - ?
Factory setting - ?
torx - ?

I have the same tool and have been too lazy to mess with it. Trucks running good and I believe in, if it ain't broke...Don't fix it..!

I have the GM 6.2 Book but I question if the numbers would work better from a 6.5 since I'm running a 4911 pump and a Turbo.

Did you ever figure anything out? I know this thread is dead but i'm currently trying to figure this out for myself.

I have it at 3* btdc now... not a lot of rattle and good power with my set up.. but my motor isn't close to stock, lots of fuel & air feeding it..
