transmission question

I have a 96 Suburban 6.5 with 221,000 miles with the original transmission. The transmission shifts ok but does seems to shutter between gears at times. My question is; will a 4L80E transmission out of a 99 GM Van fit my 96 Suburban? Thanks

If you want to try and solve your problems with the transmission I have a suggestion before doing the work of a swap. I had a transmission Gremlin about 5 years ago. I changed out all the sensors inside the tranny and changed filter and fluid. Once I did that it didn't fix the gremlin but once that was fixed the transmission worked much better. If I remember right there was like 4 of them and they ran about $35 each.
