Gm-3

I have a military j-code 6.2 installed in a 92' Suburban. It does fine on the flatter areas, but I'm looking for a little more power to deal with the mountains here. I do no towing at all but the Suburban weighs around 9,000 pounds.
I have access to a 6.5 turbo setup with a GM-3 turbo. What can anyone tell me about this turbo. Mind you, I'm just looking for a little more power not gobs of power.
