93 to a 94, or 94 to a 93

Got a line on a 1994 with a good engine :rolleyes: and a bad tranny. Should I swap down to a 1993 mech inject which is what I have now with an IP less than a year old. Or swap the electronics up into my 93 frame.
I guess what I'm really asking is what is harder to do? What steps will I take either way? Most of my professional mechanic buddies are super busy and I'm most likley going to be on my own for this one. But at least I found a running engine, which is better than the last few I found lol.

Keep your mechanical injection system.

To swap the electronics into your truck would be a waste of time, money and overall a real PITA.

The 4911 injection pump was the best pump used on the 6.5.

The swap will be an easy one.
