53 GMC Panel Diesel Conversion

53 GMC Panel with 2005 Mercedes CDI innercooled 3.2 turbo diesel. Body is installed on a 2004 Trailblazer chassis. Engine is adapted to a 4l80E transmission with a custom adapter with a 1 ton transfercase.

That guy does some nice work.

I especially like the incorporation of the mer headlight arrangement on the project 48 (on the web site).

48 was a labor of love for over 30 years, all work was done in house. Unfortunately it had to be sold last year to keep business going, thank you Obama!

Never got it finished, tried to sell it as a project car no takers. Ended up parting it out, kept the engine for the Cherokee on the forum. Sold the chassis and body to a guy in Montana. Hated to see it go.
