My 2004 Chevy 2500 HD was runnig great. It has 195,000 miles but never a minutes trouble. I started the truck a few days ago and back up about 3 ft when the truck suddenly shut off. It has not cranked since. I have checked the fuel filter which was full of fuel. I was wondering if the truck has an electric fuel pump that may have quit working.

LB7 or LLY engine? Check the 8th digit of the VIN if you're not sure. It will be 1 or 2, respectively.
No OEM electric fuel pump. The fuel is drawn from the tank, by the engine driven high pressure pump. This is why they are sensitive to air leaks.
By, "has not cranked since", do you mean it won't crank, or cranks but won't start (crank rotates when the key is turned, but doesn't fire)?
