On a 2006 Chevrolet K2500 4x4, Duramax, Allison, crew cab, short bed I'm getting water trapped in the cowl area after heavy rains with the truck parked.
The truck parks under several oak tress that drop various debris throughout the year. I'm assuming debris has gotten into the cowl and that the drain is plugged. I'm hoping someone can tell me where the drain is and the best way to clean it. Also, how would I access this area to clean out larger debris such as leaves or sticks that may have entered?
There are no water leaks in the interior and the problem happens summer or winter when there is a heavy rain.
A search on "water cowl" and "dash water" turned up no relevant results for me. Thanks.
