since i added a breather like the old motors, she's stopped weeping oil everywhere, and has hardly used any (mebbe 1/2 qt) and its coming time for an oil change in 600miles,.(3500 between changes) The turbo suck pipe for the cdr isn't drippy either,.
likely due to the miles on her and the blow by etc,..(220,000 miles)

These engines are designed to run with a slight "vacuum" in the crankcase.
This is the reason for the CDR valve on the RH Valve cover.

As these engines reach the end of their years they will have far more blow by which tends to offset what the CDR was designed to handle.

What happens is that there will be a lot more "Oil Pull Over" from all the extra vapor in the crankcase.

The turbo inlet will get very sloppy and oil consumption goes up too.

Too much crankcase pressure also forces oil out just about anyplace it can find.
This was the reason for running a slight depession in the engine.
The idea is great, but as time and wear take their toll, things go away and they suck oil and leak.

What you have done is about all you can do, until you decide to do an overhaul.
