Yesterday I noticed blow by coming out from the dip stick, not a large amount but smoke was plainly visible.
I removed the oil fill cap to inpect more thouroughly and found that it smoked roughly similar to a boiling tea kettle.

I have 216K on this 94 6.5 in a 3/4 ton suburban.
All stock no mods.

Truck runs fins, have not noticed any change in performance. No major oil consumption, sometimes I'll add a quart between changes.

Curious to hear any comments from anyone, have any f yuo sen this before?

Is this an indication of major problem in the near future?

Oil cunsumption doesn't seem too bad.
Do a "search" in past posts on "CDR" & "blowby".

After replacing CDR blow by is normal.

Slightly visible from oil fill cap idling at operating temperature.

Hope to get 300K out of this truck - 84K to go.

Also noteworhty SES light did not come ahen crusing above 75 MPH as it has in the past - I'm keeping my fingers crossed - Though that the SES lights was due to the wastegate solenoid problem.
