I bought a 96 last year in texas and brought it back to michigan, it has 135K runs great ,the truck is very clean rust free (of course its from texas) it also has the 97 cooling. I also noticed the IP has a 2000 date on it, obviously it probaly was replaced but the engine is extremly clean the paint on the engine looks fairly new, so I was wondering if the engine was replaced? Is there different casting #'s on 96's than 99's or 2000's :confused:
