CNG Option To Be Added to Some GM Pickups
GM announces it will begin taking orders in April on Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD extended-cab pickups that offer the option to run on both gasoline and compressed natural gas. Natural gas costs about one-third the cost of conventional gasoline, and there are about 500 public U.S. fueling stations now offering CNG. Combined gas tank allows for a range of more than 650 miles.
