Need source for block

I'm looking for the part # for the new 6.5L molybdenum enhanced grey iron block now used in the hummer. Anyone know where these can be found? I can only get the long block from the local hummer dealer and they want $14000. :eek:

The GM part # for a new long block is 88894126
GM description is ENGDL65GW. This is the number on my ticket from my warranty engine replacement in June of '02. I ran that number on GM Parts Direct at that time and I think their price was $5700. Retail was almost ten grand.

You can get a fully dressed drop in Peninsular 300HP diesel and have enough change from what the Hummer stealer wants to spend on other goodies.
