I'm going to start harassing the Diesel page community quite a bit this year has I'm trying to finally get my Toyota Land cruiser project complete.

I do have questions about the battery system for these trucks. I know that the 6.2 needs 2 starting batteries. I also want to run an auxiliary battery in the rig for the winch, lights, stereo and I will also be towing a travel trailer with its own battery.

So that adds up to 4 batteries

So my question is had anybody ran multiple battery systems in their rigs and what did you do for isolations. I know that this place makes a good isolator http://www.perfectswitch.com/isolators/

I'll be running at least a 140a alternator and running good size cable.

So do you have any recommendations???

My way would be to wire the isolator to power the starter batteries on one leg and the Aux on the other. That Aux battery should be paralelled to the trailer battery.
