I intend to replace all front end suspension parts as I have the shimmies, noises, pulling to the right, ugly wear on the tires and BO. The truck has almost 400k on it and everything is original. My question is:

1. Other than the dealer, where’s a place to shop for quality parts.
2. A good place to buy the fluid for my ZF6.
3. Would the Jasper engine and transmission be a good option when the time comes?

I keep my vehicles for decades and this truck will be no exception. (It’s a babe magnet!) My ’74 Vega had a little over 300k on it when the wheels literally fell off. My 37 year old daughter was upset when I finally retired the Vega. Unknown to her, her history began in that car.

Anyway, any pointers would be appreciated.

We stock the OE pitman and Idler arms as well as support braces that will firm things up dramatically. This would be a good place to start and progress to tie rod ends etc if necessary. The tie rods and ball joints seem to hold up quite well provided they are greased properly.

I don't particularly care for production shop engines and transmissions, ESPECIALLY sophisticated diesels.
