Hello,
Is it normal for the factory amp gauge to bounce when the turn signal is on? I've also noticed that the gauge drops quite a bit when i turn the lights on. It takes a few moments to recover to the normal reading of "14". If i turn everything on it drops significantly.
Could this effect the power of the rig? not sure of the history of the alternator, looks factory. Coincidentally, every few weeks the truck "misses" once or twice on my daily commute. One or two hits and then its gone for another few weeks, hmm??
This is my 94 sub with 211k. Would a 140 amp alternator help above and beyond the current issues.
