I never got an owners manual with My truck so I have to ask.
How many foot lbs should i torque the lug nuts to. I have the 8 lug wheels.
Thanks,

My 1999 Suburban calls for 140 lbs-ft for the lug nuts. Remember to go back and forth around the lugs to evenly torque them. For the 8 bolt - I described the pattern to my kids as the "Two Box offset". With 8 lugs, you can see 2 boxes. Tighten the corners of the first box, then move one(1) lug, the tighten the next box. For a more even application of the torque, come up in steps. This will allow the wheel and hub to remain straighter. But you knew most of this.

My 1998 calls for 140 1b-ft.
My Dad's 1995 manual calls for 120 1b-ft. Not sure why the difference.
