TO settle a controversy. Is horsepower measured at the wheel (net) or at the flywheel (gross) for our trucks? Also anyone know the horsepower from the factory for a '86 6.2?
Thanks in advance!

GM rates its engines at the FW.
The 1986 naturally aspirated 6.2L diesel produced 140-155 FW horsepower, depending on whether it's a light-duty or heavy-duty emissions engine.
These typically dyno just over 100 hp at the rear wheels.
