How do you disconnect the dtrl's on a 94 gmc k2500?
i want to put on the upgraded headlight wiring harness,. but drl's need to be diconnected,.
The head light switch is going funky AGAIN,. and it smells hot all the time,.

I simply keep the parking brake down a couple of clicks. No DRL's on.

I didn't think 94s had daytime running lights.

From what I remember, that came out in the 96 model year.

My dad's 95 doesn't have them.

Maybe your switch is shorted on?

it,s a canadian truck,..


Pull the fuse.

Oh boy do i feel dumb,. i thought it was more complicated than that, DOH!!

FYI - I've been running w/o my fuse for about 6 years, now. If I want my lights on, I turn them on. I don't need a computer to make that decision for me.
