Kennedy sells AFE cold air intakes, I thought the Gm intake was ok or does it benefit more from the aftermarket?

It's simple. Round filters (2006+) good. Square filters, not as good. (OEM)

Aftermarket? Jury is still out.....

Round 2006 intake and filters can be adapted to your 2005, IIRC...

I run the complete LBZ intake on my 2005 including the paper filter. This mod DOES need to be addressed in the tuning as the MAF curves are quite different between th setups.
