compression test adapter...

I've got an adapter for doing a compression test, but it seems to fat to fit into #7 and #8... anybody else have this problem? solution?

well... the answer to this questions is that you can actually get the adapter in #8, you just have to have good access (I pulled the fender well)... but #7 is really tight... to overcome this I bought a grease gun adapter (about 8" long) and some brass fittings, ran a die over one to match the glow plug threads and then was able to thread it into the hole without the manifold being in the way. If anyone is interested I'll post a picture.
