need to know before morning

Hey I changed the stats in my truck, I know I lost some coolant to the floor, but there is more in the overflow than at the start. How do I get the air out? It is a dual stat crossover, do I just start the truck and back that brass screw out a bit and wait for it to stop spitting? Or will the system just purge itself?

For the record, that job is a bitch, till the lightbulb goes on and you take the intake off.

Yep, that is the purge valve. Just open it up a bit and let things circulate. It burps the air pretty quickly.
