So the van has sat for maybe a year or so. I go down the road yesterday & experience a left pull after braking..

Got some stinky Brake smell If I drove her to far. Today I jack up the sticky side. She is free. As soon as I start her up & tap the brakes she stays stiff but movable.

I'm back to explore some more. Any Ideas?
Thanks

So I cant get myself to pull off the caliper as it seems to work fine ... But when the truck is turned on & running the left caliper stays locked.

When I open the bleeder the rotor frees up?

Proportioning Valve? Man Mines not easy to get to.....???

Bleeding may be helping. Done with diner, round 2...

My last theory ..... From Browsing the net is collapsed brake line?

RE: if it were Proportioning Valve both wheels would lock?.......

I would try the brake line first.. ive had several cars and trucks do that with the line ...

I second that. The rubber hose can also cause the vehicle to pull left or right when applying the brakes. I've had it happen on two of my vehicles over the years.

This AM I got her to lock up on the jack-/jack stand

Loosened the line at the hose/metal line connection-

Stayed locked.

Loosened the hose at the caliper ... freed up.....

I put a new line & viola....... The symptom went away.

I haven't put her to the pavement, but I need to slip a new tranny mount in the am.

Unless you hear other wise this one is solved. After the Tranny mount, got's to go manual glow as the controller operates with a mind of it's own. I never had a lick of trouble after I converted the Blazer!

Happy 4th ya'll

Thanks all who chimed in!!! The is one of the coolest places on the internet!
