The drivers seat in my 2001 has been pretty well mashed flat after about 250,000 miles. An older gentleman that has done auto upholstry for many years has agreed to fix/restuff it, IF I remove it.

It is a 60/40 electric adjustable cloth seat

Any tricks or ways to easily get it out?

Thanks

It should be straight forward and simple. I've not done the split-bench types, but it should be similar to the buckets. Only 4 bolts hold it to the floor (torque to 41 ft/lb on install). Removing the seat back is a little more involved, but you may be able to remove the seat bottom without back removal.

If the upholstery is still in good shape, and you are only "restuffing" the cushion, by the time you get the seat out, removing the fabric cover is a simple step away. If it's going to cost a bit to get it done, you may consider doing it yourself.
