vac pump

Does the vac pump have a way to lube the pump, short of putting some oil down the hose? Getting sick of oiling it every couple of days to keep boost. Ya, I know the pump is going bad. Just trying to get a little more time on it. Thanks

It's the valve(s) failing - the diaphragm is silicone compound rubber, meant to run oilless.

So - no pre-oiling facility designed in.

If you hit the boneyards, the '80s fwd Cadillac and Buick Riviera had identical vac pump assemblies, may be easier to find.
Could be a better temp choice than oiling that one.
