1998 1500 PU 6.5 diesel, starts runs then no start

1500 pu 6.5 diesel runs good when shut off won't start again for 20-45 minutes any ideas

Everyone is going to want more details before they give ideas, so you might as well tell us all your mileage numbers, modifications and work done since you've owned it. Also, when you say it won't start, are you saying it cranks but no start, or just won't crank? You can also see my post, started Saturday, concerning possible bad ECM. I've got a similar issue with mine, and have thrown a bunch of money and time at it without success.
