Got a customer with a '98 Chevy Tahoe 6.5td that came to the shop without RWD he said that suddenly he lost traction, he switch to 4WD and kept going.
Close inspection revealed that there was no rear driveshaft on his truck. Probably he blew the diff u-joint and he lost it. He didn't even bother to stop to see anything.
The thing is that down here I can't get the t/case slip yoke, I can have all the other parts but the slip yoke.
Where can I get the slipyoke? Any advise on driveshaft shop would be appreciated.
I've tried a GM dealer I usually get oem parts from but they seem to have the complete driveshaft and it's very expensive, even more considering shipping to Argentina where I live.
