glow plug problem

I have a small problem I need some help with. I have installed a 1995 6.5TD into my Land Cruiser, and everything was working fine for the first few weeks. I was starting it so often tring to twek everything, that I thought I burnt out the glow plug relay, the light comes on for only a 1/2 sec, insted of the 5-7 that it should. So I bought a new relay from NAPA, installed it, and same problem, WTF???

Disconnect your ECT senders (2) and try again. If the WTS increases, connect each, one at a time and try again. The one you connect that causes the problem again is bad. If the PCM "thinks" the engine is hot, you get no glow. Disconnecting the senders forces it to only "see" -40°.

I have personally killed two controllers by overtightening the lugs....it twists the innards resulting in brief glow cycles.
