For over a year I have been trying to get my 99 diesel van 3500, to run right. In that time I have spent more than $3000.oo At repair shops from Mt to Az. I got a new computer in Mt. A new lift pump and filter, ( the old ones had less then 3000 miles on them) the muffler taken off the turbo taken apart. In Az. I had new clamps installed to turbo (needed) O ring and gaskets from turbo Also needed from taking parts off and on too much). In Mt I had the PDM replaced and relocated (was told by the Az. garage that was needed) The original problem was still there. I finally bought a manual from the Diesel page on the 6.2 and 6.5 turbo. That is when I learned what was really going on and it was the turbo waste-gate solenoid, A $32.oo part I replaced it and the Van runs great. Thank you soo much Diesel page. Now I can finally start to fix it up the way I want it. If you are having troubles with your diesel get a manual and learn what is really going on. Have a good day All A.J.Ciaccio
