Transfer Case Pump Upgrade

I'm going to do my Transfer case upgrade this spring and started to research the upgrade kits. MA has thekits for $99 and Kennedy has them for $95. So no difference in price.

1. Each show a different gasket...why do they use different gaskets?
2. One has an ouput shaft seal...seems wise to install while you have the case pulled apart.
3. One has blue locktite...what's that for?

I just put a kennedy plate in mine, I only bought the plate as a buddy owns a tranny shop so I grabbed an adapter gasket from him & had silicone for the case. Not sure what they want the loctite on, possibly the case bolts after you split it. I recommend Kennedy simply for the fact that he is a member here. Great communication & fast shipment on mine also

I add the rear output seal as they are prone to leak and now is a good time to replace it. As for the gaskets, the simpler design that we include works just fine. The other design just has excess paper that is not necessary.

The install of our wear plate is much simpler and foolproof compare to removing the pump plate itself.

I don't use threadlocker on any parts of the tcase.
