is there any problems hooking a 6.2 to a sm465 manual tranmissiion

Shouldn't be any issue. I thought the SM465 was the stick shift option on the diesels during the 80's. Don't take that as gospel though, cause I'm not sure.

Scare up a 6.2 or 6.5 flywheel and bellhousing and the correct clutch disc and your set.

The flywheel from the 350 or the 454 will not work, must be the 6.2/6.5 stuff.

You should be able to match up quite a few different gearboxes to that engine.
