That is a DB2-829-4894, indicating model 4894 with .029" pump plungers, for a 6.2L.

One you're looking for is DB2-831-4911, with .031" plungers.

May be a couple more - 4927 and 4974, but look for the '831'.

thanks guys thats what i needed to know.so if your saying it's a 6.2 pump then i'm in business,i think my pump is taking a dump and they are saying something about the new style head and rotor assy and if mine doesn't have it its gonna cost another 700.00 or so dollars to fix.yet i have 3-4 6.2 pumps 2 of which i know are good.i'm gonna have to do some checking on those pumps see what kinda numbers i can come up with, did the 6.2 pumps have a rotor problem or was it just the 6.5,i gotta say i have never pulled the pump off my 6.2's and one of them i put over 200,000 miles on with a turbo and it still runs great.

The improved head\rotor assy was to improve 6.5L hot-start capability, tho most complaints resulted from low battery volts, dragging starter, corroded cables, etc.
The 6.2L was probably history by then, and the 6.5L had different head\rotor with the .031" plungers, so Stanadyne part number list would be the reliable source for that answer
