code 36 - need help

I have been having my check engine light coming on, had the codes pulled and got "code 36 - injection pulse error". The truck runs fine, had a new diesel injection pump installed about 2 months ago. Any ideas on the problem/cause would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 6.5 L Turbo, 1994 -- 3/4 ton, short bed, ext cab, all standard parts.

DTC 35 & 36 are closely related - who knows?
