Hey there!!!
I have a 2001 Dmax and have been looking for the block heater, my dad has a 96 and his is my the radiator ive been looking for a good hour im starting to think it doesnt have one  can anybody help me out
Don't know if this will help you much because mine is a 05, but I found mine tied back close to the pass. side fender well and air box. Not sure if that is where it was from the factory or if the 1st owner pulled it back there.

Same place on the 2001. It should be taped to the large harness loom against the passenger side fender liner. If you remove the liner, it'll be staring you in the face above the tire. It's been there 10 years, so I suggest you remove the fender liner for a close inspection before using it. Damaged/weathered cords can (and have) cause vehicle fires.

This was just discussed a week or two ago. Easy to find and they do work well, but myself I prefer the oil pan type heater as teh oil in your pan is still a ball of jelly.
