'98 6.5TD & TH700: Does a 6.2 Torque Converter Cover fit?

Hi,

just a short question. I'm still missing a correct troque converter cover for my truck. I've got a 1998 6.5 Diesel and a 1991 MD8 TH700.

Will a 6.2 Diesel Th700 Torque Converter Cover fit my truck or is the bottom of the 6.5 different?

700r4/(MD8 coverswill only fit 700 MD8. Stamped steel & alum casting. I would say get the cast alum 4WD TC cover & install the strut rods.Ever little amount reinforcement or siffness is a good thing.
