2002 rear rotors replacements too short

I just got replacement rotors for the rear, but they are shorter that the originals. They fit on , but do not go all the way back to the shield. Is this correct?? Looking online, I have the correct parts.

When I replaced mine on my 2004, I found out that there were two different rotors. I measured mine to ensure I got the right ones. It's impossible to tell by just looking at them. The difference is in the size of the round hole that fits over the axle.

If you indeed got the right sized rotors, could the problem be binding parking brake shoes?
If that's the problem, back off the shoe adjustment, and see if rotors go on all the way.

Just some thoughts.
