engine squeeking

Something on the left side is squeeking when under a load not at idle only when I give it throttle or reduce the throttle. The engine is from the early 90s and has v belts just replaced the alternator which is on the right side

Yank all the belts off and try it.

You can run it for a few moments without overheating things.

My bet is that its a belt, maybe the AC belt or the power steering pump belt.

These are notorious for issues.
