low rpm / cold stumble

I am have a low rpm / cold stumble / miss at about 1500 / 1700 rpm when cold and accelerating as well as around town at about 40 KL. Truck seams to miss,and pops a bit of blue smoke. I am not shure were to look. I have changed the glow plugs and realy lately and cleaned and repaired ground at the back of the intake. Truck has about 325,000 kl and the motor has 120,000 kl. I am thinking of taking it to Garage and get scanned and timing checked . I have no codes and truck is running good exept for this.

My first inclination is that you have a bad injector/s

If there are no codes showing (SES) and all other things are fine thats what I would look at.

OH always make sure the fuel filter is clean/new.

If the injectors have 100K miles or so they are likely on the skids.

Yank them out and have them tested.

A bad injector with low pop pressure and a poor spray pattern will cause blue smoke and missing and such.

Will also cause hard cold starts, poor mileage and other issues.
