Ok so i have been having issues with my glow plugs not wanting to come on. Its strange because it worked a few times after fiddling with it a little. There was a little electrical tape on the wires going to the top of the controller and in my fiddling I decided to take the tape off to see if there were any worn wires, and the white wire isnt connected to anything. Anyone have any idea what that wire is for? Ill try to put up a pic but not sure I have posted enough times.

White wire isn't connected to anything.

Sounds like the controller is failing. They're electro-thermal and wear out.

Really? This thing came from the factory with a wire not attached to anything? Wow.
Anyway, thanks for the reply, I do need to get a new controller.

Ebay the best place for those? I thought I may have read that in another thread somewhere.

i had the same problem. bulb loose at lamp on dash. test light should come on at relay with key on at pink and light blue wire and at orange wires with fusible link. This indicates the loop is workin together. I cleaned every grouund strap and connector with light touchand wire brush till they shine. then check voltage with key on with multimeter. It should read 12.4 at least. if they do pull a green glow plugh wire off plug probe it and it should light up 12volts when they cycle. i have more info if you need it good luck
ps replace controller as last resort! its loved very much by parts houses! These systems are very dependable they just need a good cleanin and close EAGLE eye to find the issue. Pull apart the plug that pink and lt blue wire goes together with the two orange fusible link wires... mine got hot and melted the plug just ernough to melt it a little causing on of the orange wire connectors to slide back and give a bad connection. 4BM
