My air cleaner box was loose at the bottom where the top half and bottom mate up, where the teeth go into the slots.
I took the two phillips screws out of the top of the box in order to seperate it. When I looked inside I could see the filter bent and shoved down into the bottom half. It didn't look like it would have sealed that way to the top half, which is the clean side of the assembly going to engine intake. I straightend the filter and noticed that there isn't any real lip for it to rest on in the bottom? I put some form a gasket on the top box where it mates to the bottom portion of the filter and put it back together. It sure looked like dirty/unfiltered air would have gotten by the filter and into the intake. Plus this new filter is an odd size flat filter, not like the good round one that was on my LBZ. Let me know if anyone else finds anything like this on there LML. Thanks
